Aurum

The work explores the duality between light and shadow through a deep gold hue interrupted by dark textures that evoke organic traces and flows. The use of encaustic adds relief and materiality, creating an antique and timeless surface effect. "Aurum" not only alludes to gold as a symbol of wealth, but also as a metaphor for the essential and transcendent that shines amidst the darkness.
